Technical Project Manager: London Technical Project Manager urgently required for my Telco client based in London with solid Data Network experience, ideally CCNP
or CCDP certified. You'll have experience of project management, especially from a technical point of view and solid experience of both project management
and proposal documentation

Project Work

· Project management and Pre-sales activity for Data Network services

· Independently taking a lead on solutions and projects, providing fully documented approaches

· Master detailed planning (including project planning), development and design of Network Services for customers

· Make project proposal/network design documents and maintain projects and RFP milestones

· Proof of concept testing and acceptance testing, on project related issues/works

· Network expansion planning, development and implementation for new features

Networking

· 5+ years' work experience in Data Networking in Carrier or ISP background

· 1+ years' work experience in both project management and pre-sales of Network service

· TCP/IP, Data Transmission, L2/L3 VPN, Multi-Layer Networking

·
X.21, V.35, G703/704, SONET/SDH, ATM/FR, Ethernet, MPLS, Optical Networking. Generic Routing, RIP, OSPF, and BGP4. Prince2 and ITIL qualifications

· Cisco command operation and configuration. UNIX command operation

· CCNP or CCDP certificated

Customer facing

· Fully understand customer's requirement and design networks that are appropriate

· Dealing with customer requests, expectations and wishes

· Visit customer to propose NW services ,make presentations at customer premises

· Establish good relationships with colleagues in Europe, vendors, customers and potential customers to increase the business opportunities and revenue

· Vendor/Carrier negotiation and control

Other

· Cover for 24/7 Shift Engineer as and when required/needed + on-call when and if required/needed

· Technical support to non-tech staff for NW service matter

· Knowledge and excellent proficiency in Visio design, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio and Microsoft Outlook
